Thread regarding Dril-Quip Inc. layoffs

the ones that did not got layoff today but should, will be sore tomorrow, l ear no vaseline was available.

thank you lady for sharing your history and god be with you and your family in this hard times, it is true that this people are beyond heartless, l have see how the supervisors and mike matthes high five every time they will fired people, many times nightshift supervisor will make fun of christians and minorities, yea this supervisors are muslims, and will brag about that all the ladies in offices are his whores, and l don't care, but the fact that he will tell me about, l got sick and tired and quit, there is a culture of backstabbing, and if you complaint to H.R. he will laugh on your face and will say, l am their boy, and H.R. will do nothing about any abuse, look l know god is great and they themselves will be out of job soon, and they will pay for all the suffering they have cause.

My husband and his Friend in another dept. Were laid off drill quip today and another Lady in his dept. Who is a widow. He's been there 18 years. We have no idea who else or how many. We know that they laid off a few months ago. My husband was not allowed to talk to anyone, protest or talk to hr😈 We have a son who has several genetic illnesses. I have a rare cancer , without insurance I am dead. My husband thinks a large part of it is people with high insurance bills since the company pays for that. Also by firing older people who have higher salaries will save them money. Of course no executive or higher management will be cut. They we're wrong for not giving these people warning. Since the owners died, drop quip has changed. My husband had a few years until retirement, now in his sixties, he has to start over.

Working people. People were already doing the jobs for several people. Mid management can't handle the stress and pass it down in unprofessional manner.

At this years pinning. They bragged that they were better than companies like Texaco. No your new location on Eldridge, is decorated and run like a prison. Check the parking lot after hours and weekends, to find employees, who are cleaning up company messes and doing double time. I know the quality of worker my man and these others were, so whatever clueless heartless people made these choices are clueless selfish heartless people. And the people let go recently, were well thought of. People were in shock today of those let go, shouldn't have been. That's why they gave no warning. They didn't want to deal with the outcry or insubordination. My spouse doesn't know I'm writing this, but for his sake and all past and future layoffs, hold your head high on your character and performance and God bless you and everyone in Houston deemed unworthy of a corporate paycheck. Those left working in an environment of fear, retaliation, and low morale can not work functionally. Those mid manage ment and up who keep passing on the work, bullying and threatening employees with jobless, will soon find themselves jobless when a corp. Like g.e. buys them out. I am a spiritual woman, but I believe in truth. Today you have blood on your hands, and I hate you for that. My husband would have halted his salary and lived at the plant had they given him warning. He took a lot of crap. Knowing without insurance, my cancer meds and other life threatening illnesses would brought me down. His bosses already knew my cancer is out of control. Don't pray for us, pray for their souls. I'm going to share my situation with every cancer foundation, the medical profession and even the news as my chances of affording s 12_000 dollar a month medication, office visits. Blood work and the machine I need to cleanse my blood and pain meds. To hell with you, Drill quip.
