Make sure you don't trust the certificate authority Intel is pushing down to your system. LinkedIn may not be the only site they are trying to man in the middle. To be ethical, the acceptable use page really needs to indicate that the MITM is being done. "Intel can see all communications to LinkedIn.com including your credentials". But I think Intel threw ethics out a while ago.

You lazy EE will have nothing to do all day without your facebook, amazon, etc... just wait its coming, most tech companies block those sites... pretty soon the free fruit will be gone too, you EE making 100k+ will be forced to buy your own fruit!

And I should clarify that by SSL I mean secure socket layer (as in TLS), not stock share level.

@Hske2Yd-hjg is exactly right. The SSL cert is self-signed by Intel if you dig deep enough. They are doing a man-in-the-middle attack. Other SSL sites have legitimate certificates..... wow. That is unsettling.

Looks like @1mb runs a landscaping business and should not comment on things he/she does not understand. Intel is a technology company. Can you say technology 1mb?

Please check the SSL certificate after clicking "continue". It is self signed by Intel CA. The certificate is trusted due to the fact that yout work computer had it installed by IT. They are doing a man in the middle attack.

Seriously, if my company was paying the wages of employees going on social media or other internet sites unworkrelated, I would proxy that so fast and use that as the criteria for layoffs.
