What a shame, you'll even get a chance to train your counterpart in Pune, you will be rewarded for all that effort with a nice fragrant pink slip. To keep things even, the executives will be rewarded also, job well done, 130% increase in bonus payments ...

Broadcom will cut support in India as they are smart enough to realize that its difficult enough to retain top talent. We had 9 support Engineers in CA that was cut to 2. Overlap is picked up by Australia and Europe.
They did that 10 years ago and then realize, whoops we made a bad decision then scramble to fix it all. WHOEVER RUNS SYMANTEC IS AN IDIOT!!!
When jobs get outsourced, families and local business feel the hit. We already have more eager job hunters than there are jobs. Companies that outsource are being disloyal to their employees and to our country. Worse, they feel no obligation to fill the void left behind. Still worse, our government wants to call us lazy and refuse "entitlements". We are left to loose everything, kicked to the street, then arrested for 'illegal camping', where upon many then loose their last few possessions. When Government AND Industry war against us, it is time to become active part of reclaiming our country. I hope responsible consumers will boycott all such anti-American companies.
