ITT Ghosts (non-existent, purported student resources)

ITT apparently has Ghosts giving the education to students. Picking several current online catalogs at random from ITT site, with the following student pronouncement:

Effective 3/31/2016-3/31/2017 unless revised prior to that date

The information contained in this catalog was accurate at the time of publication.

Look at Springfield IL catalog (page 49):

However, a ghost from July 2014 (almost 2 years) must still roam the ITT halls:

This ghost apparently stated roaming 4 months before the new catalog:

take a look at Madison, WI catalog (page 77)

https://www.itt-tech.edu/campus/campus-school.cfm?lloc_num=120&schoolof=dd

adjunct since 2013 (though catalog purports he is currently a full time program chair):

What could be the cause--I don't understand this. There are probably many more for ACICS to look at, plus call up payroll records as well as old catalogs

Apparently some other instructors /deans/chairs listed as resources are really ghosts

Industry "advisory board" members may also be haunting the halls

You can use linkedin to check a lot of these (such as they started at ____, after leaving ITT). The dean was gone for a year, the chair more than 1 year, another chair for about 2 years, various instructors gone, yet still listed in the catalog to provide education to new students. At one campus, the "chair" changed to an adjunct in 2013. Also the industry advisory board members are suspect. They are required to attend/sign in for academic meetings 1 (or 2 ?) times a year. There are those who probably quit advising years ago, yet still listed. It will be interesting to see them produce these signatures for audit.

The catalog states the information is correct at time of publication (2016). Obviously ASICS has some catching up to do. Save your catalogs for them.

My campus has ghosts as well! Just sent off a complaint to ACICS about inaccuracies in recently published campus catalog, which has the ghosts filling program chair positions.

Don't see how ITT-Tech can win this one. Either they say they simply they overlooked changing faculty information, even 6 months after the fact -- maybe due to all those pesky lawsuits against them, taking up their time! Or they try to blame it on someone else -- campus director, or dean, or even a district manager. Or they admit they are padding the chair positions to maintain the illusion they are a real college.

In all scenarios, doesn't look good that a business taking in a billion dollars a year in revenue can't figure out how many chairs they have.

@Hr6rcvC, looks like this may be a pattern. I wonder if ACICS could look at this systematically across the 130-140 campuses.
