Should I have received my severance amount by now? Is it paid in lump sum or biweekly? I signed and returned the paperwork during the allowable period.
Also, when can I file for unemployment? Do need to wait until my severance is up if it paid biweekly?

I went ahead and filed for unemployment. I'd recommend waiting until you receive the severance....whenever that is. That way you don't have to file a weekly claim yet, but it's easy enough to do. You just have to report what you get paid the week you get paid so you won't actually receive anything for unemployment until the severance runs out. It would be nice to know when that is.
