For ISP, the official date of separation is May 30 - so, the lump sum amount is expected to show up a few weeks after May 30.

Many people will face hardship, many don't, after layoffs. That is a legitimate concern if you worry when the next check comes in and when it ends while the bills don't stop coming. The ISP papers page 19 says the variable separation pay (after you sign the papers) and the base pay (the 8-week one) "will be paid as soon as administratively possible". This means there could be a gap between your last check (May 15? because we were still employed through April or so) and when the separation check comes in. Since they have done everything to humiliate us any way they could, I won't be surprised if the gap is weeks or even months.

No just a simple question. Some post have said they havent received anything yet. People are in a very difficult postion with losing their jobs. Nothing greedy. Just a very simple question to know it they still havent received their severance pay. They have family to care for, bill to pay, food to put on their tables and decisions to make for their future..just a simple question.....
