Thread regarding Sears layoffs

New 52 week low. $12.66

SHLD will eventually trade in the single digits. So sad. Upper management has totally screwed up this company.

The stock price is even lower now. Something strange is going on.

Eddie is a moron...plain and simple...seems like a corporation (especially one which employees over 100k people) would be able to protect itself from a wannabe corporate-raider...but no...capitalism is perfect...what a f---ing joke of a country we are right now

I thought the company said closing all of those stores was going to increase Profitability? If that is the way to increase Profitability they just need to close all of them and no retailer would ever have more than one store. My job was eliminated the first of March and I just received my pension papers "Congratulating" me on my recent retirement. I did not retire on my own free will. Am I the only one that saw this coming along with all the others that lost their jobs? I had a coworker email me asking for help with an issue he was having at one of the 5 stores I used to have assigned to me. I told him Sears could eat sh-- and die, they are not getting any help from me.
