Does transition to cobra reset your deductible?

I have the high deductible plan and have already hit the deductible for the year. Will it reset when I transition to the cobra coverage?

super thanks to the person who cited the documentation... Great to see something other than trolls. I didn't expect them to document that there... I think I will actually read all that stuff now...

Page 9 of the ISP materials: "Your calendar year annual accumulators (deductible, out of pocket max) will be transferred to the plan you enroll through COBRA so you will not have to meet a new deductible.... This will happen automatically after you complete your COBRA election."

No it won't but be prepared for Cigna to start questioning and denying services. That is what happened with us last year. Hit deductible, went on Cobra in July and by September Cigna was fighting doctors on everything. Best of luck.
