Former ITT Tech Administrator Describes Company's Slow Demise

[Edited to keep poster anonymous]. "I joined ITT Educational Services in _when they were a subsidiary of ITT Corporation, a publicly traded company on the Dow Jones. At that time they had around 15 campuses mostly in the Midwest and East Coast, and were led by Richard McClintock who was a former controller who knew everyone of his employees by their first name. The current President & COO Gene Feichtner_____was then the Western Region SPM. I was Gene's colleague until I left ITT in __, and as of that time he was an honest person with integrity. The culture at this group was fun and exciting, but had changed in the mid-80s when Richard McClintock passed away, a new CEO was named, and the schools split off as ESI. Although the company grew by leaps and bounds, it was a top down run group with most attention to PBT and stock price. After I left in _, the stock price skyrocketed past $100/share and had several splits. However, as you have seen the past decade, their stock has plummeted to nearly no value and has hovered at its current level while fighting off regulatory findings for improper actions."
