The lack of work for over a year now, has created a very disgruntled area in which to work in. It has gotten ridiculous! What does management not see?

I HAVE NEVER EVER WORKED FOR A COMPANY ALL IN ALL MY LIFE THAT EMPLOYEES SO MAY PEOPLE THAT THEY DON'T NEED. I AM SORRY TO SAY THIS BECAUSE I WANT MY JOB, BUT SERIOUSLY THIS PLACE NEEDS TO CUT THEIR BOISE WORKFORCE BY 30% IN ALL LEVELS. THIS PLACE HAS A LOT OF PEOPLE DOING A LOT OF NOTHING. MILLIONS AND MILLIONS SPENT FOR NO REASON. THIS IS NOT A WELL RUN COMPANY BY ANY STRETCH OF THE IMAGINATION. WHAT A SHAME...
rummor is Micron is planning some layoffs in July 2016?
VERY few promotions these days unless you are in for a Vice President position. Anyone in Folsom want one of those? There seems to be a new one every month. Have any of these new VP'S improved anything in the area you work in? I didn't think so.
Micron seems to be having some money problems now. They won't be making their July payment for the other company they bought, they are now being vague and tight lipped on the whole deal.
What else is new?
Managers want to keep their jobs too! What their bosses don't know helps helps them to keep their jobs.
People want to know what is going on. We see the amount of work significantly reduced and we have to pretend everything is the same as it has always been. Why is it that we continue to keep employees employed when there is really no work? This has been going on for so long what is up? We have been told that are work volume is never going to be what it was again. "That work is gone forever" Why then do we still have the same amount of people working to do 2/3 less work?
Management chooses to be blind. They don't want to rock the boat. Is there any management person asking real questions and getting real answers? It is only our jobs, you know. Nobody will hear anything truthful and then they will drop the news on us unexpectedly like they always have in the past.SOS.......
