For now on Murthy is more involved in the "disconnectedness" of employees

Murthy's vision of "interconnectedness" will not be translated to valuable products, no customer will buy Intel's deficient products and Intel will stop his IoT business.

Half of the employees will have been with the company 5 years or less. Which the EVPs will tell each other means they are young go-getters, they are getting a steal on salary-wise, but which really means no one will know what hell he/she is doing and will repeat the mistakes of the past, costing way more money than savings in salary. Execution will be poor. IOTG will have grown a lot but still be basically no real money... you can't get rich selling $0.10 parts that you make for $0.20. Desktop/laptop volumes will still be falling, but slowly as phones become powerful enough to get plugged into docking stations at desks and used as crappy performing laptops. Intel server share of market will be 90% instead of 97% because ARM can't catch up on servers no matter how hard they try. Stock price will be $15-30 depending on how X-point memory is doing. If poorly, then $15... if well, then $30. The only way this changes is if Intel manages to grab and keep the autonomous car processor market. If so, then add 5$ to whatever price left above.

The next year will be enough to predict what's going to come up.

Intel will split into two companies - chip maker and support services like security and data center management, head count for both will be about 60-70,000 or about 35% less than today. BK will leave like otellini and be given 92 M severence package like otellini. Murthi will be CEO, Everything will be run out of India. It will be a hell hole, but it will survive, stock price will be $40-45

To tell you the honest answer "I dont't know" that what HR gave it to us yesterday. Why would you pick someone name BK to be the head of the company "bankruptcy". I don't know what Inside "AMD"

Intel PC sales will decline. Stock prices headed to 22 to 25 range. Server and Datacenter market faces competition. internet of things just another joke with few rewards. Dinosuar to extinction? Slow death? Murthy to become CEO as Intel moves lower. Hopefully Intel gets a new product on and success starts. that is 40:60 chance and i will not buy the stock here

Murthy is being used as a fall guy. BK and his sycophants in HR/Legal/ TMG/ Sales and other blow/blough jobs are the reason for slow demise of Intel. BK started his inglorious deeds as soon as he got the chance to be a CEO. In any case he made his money, does he care for you?

Where AMD is now

1) PCs keep shrinking but will not yet dissappear as the ARM alternative will not be ready (It will take 3 more years).

2) Server market will start seeing some competition from powerhouses (Google, FB, Amazon) making their own ARM based chips.

3) we will start hearing about splitting the company to Foundary & SoC sections, similar to what happened to AMD.

4) New buzzwords will replace IoT, Drones and similar stuff.

5) BK will be kicked out. Aicha will replace him. She really knows how to talk (in the good sense).

Indians think it is funny that American's let them take their jobs. They really do. Yes, they never say anything when an Anglo is in the room, but when they leave, they laugh at them

3 years from now all of Murthy RSU would have vested. He'd have stripped the company like a private equity cowboy. Aicha will be CEO and everyone will be forced to classify themselves as non-binary. Welcome to Intel fuzzy logic

3 years from now will be the exact time to weigh this company. It can move on to become one of the big leaders and brand of technology or it can just fall apart completely if they throw in the towel with cloud. Too much pressure on people to perform and deliver , but Intel always had bright peiple to make things happen. But, I just hope they did not let go off smart people this year. Remember the empoyees will make this company big not the management. Intel needs to retain their smart engineers and get rid of the highly paid management chain. All in all with so much competition around I would say Intel has a 50% chance of making it big ten years from now. Which is a bad thing unfortunately

BK will get some of his own medicine when Murthy takes his job

Diversity trends will shift to hiring whites as most of those at Intel will be Indian

Mobile/Phone strategy will be revived

Data center market decimated by ARM competitors

PCs will still be the cash cow and the only thing Intel will excel at

Politics will continue

Intel values will change to "whatever it takes to get a good focal review" even if at the expense of others

3 years from now Intel will be heavily involved in building autonomous driving cars infrastructure, providing CPUs' and 5g radios to electric automobile manufacturing companies and taking the lead on what ever idea Elon Musk comes up with.

2018 will be the make or break year and it will all depend on if they shed their past of showing up late to the ballgame. I believe they will make it, time will tell.

Worked there for 15+ years and got the walk of shame last week. Don't really care what it will be in the future. Definitely will not going to spend money on anything that has "Intel Inside". Good luck to ya all!

PC business down 15%

All the new initiatives would fail, as Intel is too slow and doesn't act like a leader

BK might be the head of drones regulations, but will be kicked out pretty soon

HC will be cut down to 60K

I would stay, as long as my day job is interesting and challenging and as long as they won't kick my ass
