Warning about Contingent Worker Temp agencies

I been getting a lot of cold calls from companies waning to submit be for contingent work at Intel. In my enquire I note many these firms I suspect are offshore located in India and are not compliant under the Employer Shared Responsibility provisions under the affordable healthcare act. The best thing when you are qualified to take contract work at Intel is stick to US based firms. (volt, Kelly services, protingent for example)

Don't work with Indian temporary contract agencies. One of them tried to cheat me, my coworkers and the government.

Money is everything to these fly by night agencies and they'll go to the extent of breaking the law to make a few bucks. It could get you under scrutiny without you even realizing it.

First they didn't pay us biweekly. I had to email several times before getting paid 5 weeks later. This happened 3 or 4 times.

When I left, I found they withheld more tax than allowed, and the W2 was handwritten.

I threatened to report to the IRS and they immediately wrote me a check.
