AMD sold a team which was similar to Central Engineering - memory team and Library team to Synopsys around 2 years back. Cadence doesn't have these IPs in portfolio. Whatever required like RF can be separated and merged in to respective BUs

Central Engineering isn't a business, it generates no profits. It would likely be disbanded, they'd try to keep the best people. It does have a lot of RF in there, but some of those leaders already jumped ship.
