Thread regarding Intel Corp. layoffs

I find it funny that the white male all of a sudden wants to stand up against discrimination and pout that standards are being lowered to hire minorities....where was all this anger when minorities were shut out simply because they were minorIties...And to say standards are being lowered shows your ignorance, as if the only way a minority could get such a job would be to have standards lowered...stop whining cause the "good ol'boy" network and your privilege didn't work for you THIS time...

BK is 54 years old with 30 years of Intel experience. Dismal performance in 3 years since take over. Where does it put this man?

Another reason for diversity: hire from a cheaper work force that is too compliant and too excited to be part of the tech revolution. Double the work force with the same non growing job pool means lowered wages for the corporation.

For a corporation to play ball and get the Fed tax breaks and money, they have to abide by Government policy. There was Affirmative Action, now their sugar-coat word is diversity. I am all for true diversity, but not at the expense of experienced hard working individuals regardless of their creed, color, or sex. Ironically CEOs and Board of Directors are never impacted by these programs.

I was let go last week after 20 years. The demographics of the layoffs show that if you are 60 you were 3x more likely to get sacked. Mostly they're white and male from the last century.

Also their earnings are greater and and they are using more medical benefits. The senior guys have plateaued in their careers. By suspicious coincidence that is the exact reason given for firing us. Intel can continue to hire in India and Malaysia and call it diversity. It is simply age discrimination.

Intel playing into Americas turn toward fascism quite well

It's not just intel that aggressively promotes diversity. All of the major corporations do. I'm not sure what the main driver is for it. It may be to avoid lawsuits.

1. To create and dishonestly push the narrative that all whites are racist and therefore mandate that selection criteria for potential candidates must include an evaluation of one's color in order to ameliorate the feigned injustice of of "exclusion". This of course means that your Diversity Director has to be Black. And a women. This of course remedies the problem.

Bullshit on any measure...

Pick one of the following:

1. To be able to participate in government contracts.

2. To be representative of what the government believes is "fair"

3. To suspend an honorable fight with Jessie Jackson and capitulate to his racist rhetoric.

4. To value people more by color and heritage than by merit and content of character

5. To suspend logic and social science to the religion of progressivism.

6. To ignore common sense and socially engineer an engineering company.

7. To extend the narrative of White Guilt to those who are guilty of nothing immoral.

8. To get those that feel guilty to FEEL better about by invoking their "superiority" to allow minorities employment by lowering standards for them.

9. To create chaos by charges of "mirco-aggression", "offending" others, and dampening open debate by muffling free speech.

10. To subject those who have no control over their skin color to charges of imagined impropriety just because of that skin color.
