In his time here as your CEO has Hooley given you a single inkling that he gives a single F-- about the employees of State Street? I am talking about an facet of your personal or professional well being?

Maybe the 3 ghosts from a Christmas Carol will pay a visit to Mr Hooley

Show him how he has destroyed the lives of the average worker at SST

Poland is a nice place. I hope to visit it someday. Perhaps I can visit once I am laid off from my State Street job in America. Shameful what is going on with this once great company. On my way home late last night--i saw a clipper ship sinking in the harbor. An image that will never leave my mind. Shameful.

Imagine what this company will look like 5 years downs the road...ten years, 15 years.

It's already a shell of it's former self. What will the end game look like?

One poster said eventually 90% of workforce will be offshore. This is probably the reality.

Don't sink with the clipper ship, although you might be forced to walk the plank.

They are really top heavy now and the avp level up desperately needs thinning. They are doing very little work now and just don't serve much purpose.

Yes over the last 14 years a lot of the best workers were let go to save a buck

Especially people who supported the hardware, software and applications

The people who worked 50+ hours a week, the people who spent many a nights staying at the

cheap local hotels during raging snow storms.

The ones who took ever call seriously and gave 150% to solve the issue and keep the customer

happy.

I know people who told me they dread calling support and getting the lazy people in India who

have no idea what the difference is between Critical, Major and Minor.

There will be no lights to shut off. Eventually 90% of workforce will be offshore.

Exactly what is needed here, rid of these fat pencil pushers along with their salarys. They need to trim the fat big time. It's mind boggling to know and see what the bulk of these people do all day.

I hear you. We all know how Hooley lacks vision. Cut cut cut is all he knows. The thing that continues to disgust me is how mindlessly the EVP's and SVP's go along with Hooley's plan. You would figure that one of them would stand up and say enough is enough. How sad indeed that no one has the personal integrity to do this. I would start the cuts at the top and not stop until the madness ends.
