Thread regarding Intel Corp. layoffs

Why BK should stay and who would want it?

Ironically people who got ERP/VSP/ISP should want BK and company to stay in position, The reason is BK has been keeping the stock up through debt and stock buybacks and has focused on that aspect more than execution. The folks in the ERP... categories have either RSUs vesting/accelerating in short term and/or stock purchase shares to dump in the medium term. Considering their severance package for most will already put them over the year's salary for many of them, they would want to dump stocks in the next tax year to minimize tax liability and would want to do it at as high price as possible (and not hold it any longer than necessary considering where things are headed and how they are being handled), so BK holding the stock price would be of great benefit to them and appreciated.

On the other hand for those that are staying on, they would be better off with as rapid a change in management as possible so the company can start rising after hitting the bottom (which seems is yet to come)...

This would seem a bit counter intuitive to knee jerk reaction from two groups but this is what would make sense for their benefit.

Kapish, OP?
