There are more layoffs coming ...the new CEO calls it a restructuring for cost efficiencies, but the reality is that there will be more layoffs at the corporate office

This is a company without a soul. The employees that made it a great place at one time are long gone. They recruit people from out of state to live in "paradise", and then lay them off in a city with no other industries to turn to. The sad part is they do this for a temporary stock bump. This is short term thinking at its best. The current management Is nothing more than a group of shareholder puppets. No integrity, and no backbone. What they fail to realize is that the employees they are mistreating were also their customers...as well as their extended families and friends. Be warned...this is a dying company, and one that is killing itself. Don't fall not their trap.
Big lay off today in Winder Ga. They let some of the best people go and kept some that should have gone. The company is going down hill fast....not sure how long it will last when you let your best people go. Loyalty and loving your Job doesn't go far anymore. They don't keep their own Values. such a shame and very sad. They have lost a lot of trust with their employees today. And they even went as low as calling people on the phone to tell them they no longer had a job. Thats not even professional.
Layoffs confirmed...today 8/30/16. Rumor has it that brand president is gone.
Strong rumors of big layoff on Tuesday, August 30. While the company will save the cost of these salaries, it won't save this dying company. Retail is struggling to begin with, but Chico's has the additional struggle to convince younger women to shop in a store that their mothers used to shop in. Losing battle. Similar to Coldwater Creek and Ann Taylor.

I was recruited and relocated from out of state by Chicos. This company is notorious for recruiting, laying off, and reaping the tax credits. It is a cycle, and a very very sick company. If you are thinking of taking a job here don't!! The morale is awful.
After laying off 15 or so VP and Director level employees recently, Chico's new CEO announced that the the next cuts will be at the manager and below level and will be complete within the next month. It is anticipated that this cut will be deep.
Employees are quitting almost daily, trying to get a jump start ahead of the layoffs. We are worried the place is going to implode.
That is quite unfortunate. I just heard it confirmed from a former co worlker as well.
Apparently the CEO this time gave the staffa heads up how kind.
