This downturn is now expected to last 5 years. That said I think FMC/Technip merger will bring hell to FMC. Technip will not need any FMC operations personnel or PMs. The only people safe maybe will be manufacturing. If you have a hand feeding steel to machines then you might be ok. Technip can't do that yet, however they can do the rest and will.
