Hearing rumors of layoffs for this week, about 170 people. But not to worry. The 200 new hires in Hyderabad should be able to keep the clients happy.

I've heard the same. After many years of seeing software development jobs being sent to Thailand, China and India, it's probably happening. Because we all know DST doesn't make ENOUGH money for anyone. I really like the manager and group I work with, too. Hope it lasts a little longer.
Yup the 9th and 10th floors of BW are booked for Wednesday. I've known about it for about a week now after an ex manager informed me. (Apparently former employees have more knowledge of this kind of stuff than active ones)
There's really no reason to be working for a company like this if you can possibly get a job somewhere else. Even if I don't get targeted I'll be looking for a job elsewhere.
