I left Syntel after spending 4 years at onsite and total 10 years with Syntel. Still Syntel looted me of Rs. 5,75,000/- as per onsite deputation agreement. They harassed me and my family for 8 months and finally I had to pay bond amount. It is like I worked for Syntel for 6 months for free, just because they sent me onsite. I am telling this here so that new travelers are aware. DO NOT SIGN ODA BEFORE YOUR TRAVEL.

you were on site 4 years? i think the bond doesn't apply after 1year or so? why did you pay if you already completed 1 year

Only stupid people file H! thro syntel.
U could have got H! thro any other external agency for a far lessor sum without any strings attached.
