Do you really want to know how bad this company is? I'm still, to this day, not getting paid for my overtime because my salaried managers edited my time card to only show 40 hours, when I have clearly worked more... and be promised for my time, even though they state they won't give me the time and half, or whatever is the regional equivalent to working overtime. In my case, you work past 40 hours, you get overtime pay.
Not when it comes to this company... If a guy, let's just say Mike Kosec, states that you cannot have overtime, then apparently he compels his own managers to edit time cards and manipulate the whole system...
Take a look at the "manager's" schedule. The salaried managers are only working 6-7 hours per day, while they have their supervisors work 6 days a week. My ASM makes $17 per hour, but take into account... this person is salaried. So this guy can leave the building and make the supervisors do the real work, while he's at home getting paid? Why is this company going under? Because the DM's enable this kind of behavior. Seriously, I'm gonna throw this man's name out there, Mike Kosec, who lets his general managers work whatever they want... 5-6 hour shifts, under salary, but the hourly guys have to truck it through for them. There 'IS' a mandated system in which the GM's have to follow (when it comes to their schedule), but if they're not following it or only working 3/4 of their mandated shifts.... The way I see it that is 1/4 of payroll going to waste all just because the DM doesn't want to follow up.
Fix this sh--, district manager, unless you are just as corrupt as everyone else. Are you stealing money from the company just like the general managers working under you are? Do I even have to answer that question, Mike Kosec?
