Thread regarding Zenith Education Group layoffs

DOD is watching Zenith employees on military installations

If WYOTECH and EVEREST sending recruiters to the bases to sign up students, they MUST be requesting access EACH TIME through the Education Center, if they are following protocol. They must also be stating on the request the reason they are on post (this is the way the Army does it; other Services have different methods).

There is generally a time and space limit for school officials. The installation access is very specific about what the visit is for, how long it will be and where it will be conducted. If an official is outside of the scope of the request, for example, is supposed to be in an office in the Ed Center but is seen at the Library putting out brochures, then that is a violation that is reportable. My understanding is that under no circumstance are they supposed to put out literature (or have any agent do so) that hasn't been seen/approved by the ESO.

I am a vet and I will state I earned my education. I missed very little time and I am not the one that times out in every class and then finds a way to stay. I agree, if you miss the education the job may beat you. There are many types of vets from a lot of eras of wars. There is no draft so we all made a choice to serve so I take my education with honor just as I served.

First off, hats off to a real veteran. Meaning one that really served. Not the ones that found a way out the first year. Does serving a our country constitute not having to put the same hours in education as a normal tax payer? Meaning if you miss the allocated hours and education you may not be capable of that job safely and putting a citizen in harms way due to lack of education......

Dude and Dipsh#t,

(I do not normally engage in this type tittle-tattle crap but this needs to be addressed)

Really? You guys are obviously envious of our Veteran Warriors who had the heart to step up and protect You, and this great your Nations freedom with thier lives? Those same Veterans who led men and women into harms way, and brought them back home safely to thier loved ones? Can you or your buddies relate to anything remotely close? Hell No! (Sorry for your Shortcomings, My Friend). If you were half as intelligent as you pretend, you would know that those young men and women who you say (Need the living stipend to support themselves) Cannot live on the bijou, (tiny for you unintelligent MoFos) money that your Govt gives them for housing. FYI, that stipend is a "Housing Allowance" that they earned for the many sacrificies they made while serving thier country yardbird! So the next time you or your cronies see a Veteran of Daves bunch, check your confidence and walk up to him and say how you Really Feel about what they do to thier Face! Warning Maggot!!!!!!!!!!!! Pack A Lunch, Bring Back Up, and Wear A Diaper PUNK, because you will need it.......You guys are All Weak Cowards with No Heart!

Anyone with any integrity has either left on their own or were terminated as part of the reductions in force.

Sounds like desperation on the side of Zenith workers and Zenith students. Has anyone bothered to report this behavior to the Veterans Administration or the Department of Education? Are there any decent ethical people--who could be whistleblowers--left at Zenith? Perhaps a military veteran? I know Corinthian Colleges librarian Laurie McConnell was one of those ethical people, but she had to quit because she could not take the emotional pain of seeing the corruption--and seeing that no one at the school would do anything.

Half of them are on VA disability and have no plans on working in the field. Just here to use the benefits and get paid.

Dude

have you met these guys? They operate in the shadows, avoid the education department like an old girlfriend and will do and say anything to get a vet to sign up. The only people they enroll are the vets that need the living stipend to support them. The only reason vets go to Wyotech is because they get paid to go. Dave and his bunch of merry men should be sent packing - they are an embarrassment.
