No one is forcing you to f--- the company up either, so you can resign or leave too and should. If you can't make an oil and gas company profitable then you probably do not need to be in a management or leadership position.
I mean to run an oil and gas company into the ground you have to be incompetent, maybe your true calling is in politics?
