No need to speculate.. if they can.. they will trim the bottom tier from the yearly rankings.. Exxon style "relative ranking".. Lawyers approve of this action..

So this one is dead. Layoffs will no longer be announced. They will be targeted layoffs that will always appear as rumors to the rest of the employees.

They announced selling assets, they should unload more of old guard deadwood and rebuild.

Perhaps the sale is hung up?

Anyone in charge of their life and confident would not stay? Random....

Why is that, because you got fired and that would make you feel better?

I like the descriptions of those who were "retired", "departed " or "fired" but don't forget the many who left on their own accord. That says a lot about the company. People don't just leave especially in this job market. They aren't just leaving their boss they are leaving because of the direction of the company. Anyone who is in charge of their life and confident would not stay.

There are known knowns. These are things we know that we know. There are known unknowns. That is to say, there are things that we know we don't know. But there are also unknown unknowns. There are things we don't know we don't know.

Seems strange to layoff on a holiday week as many middle managers will likely be on vacation. Will they be notified of their termination via text or e-mail?

MRO has witnessed the departure of numerous senior ranking individuals as well as key contributors in the past few months. These were announced as either "retirements", "departures" or "firings", but the layoff word was never mentioned. In actuality the "retirements" and "departures" were low-performing or redundant positions held by individuals given the option to either leave voluntarily or be fired. Other individuals that "departed" or were "fired" likely had either insider knowledge or were vocal toward the group-think culture that has taken root at MRO. These individuals were given a robust severance package in exchange for signing strict non-disclosure agreements. HR closed the loop by instructing managers to inform the MRO colleagues these individuals either "departed " or were "fired". The managers were only too willing to comply as they realized their jobs were on the line.

This next layoff will be the release of middle management that now have no one to micromanage.

So far only a complicated reorganization announcement provided to managers and above Friday the 27th. No info to the masses.

Probably bloodbath next week but there may be an asset sale in the works.

Lee has done an outstanding job of proping up the stock. His next move should be to quit and we will see 20$.

Haha! Intellectuals. Gossips with no factual evidence, at best.
