Thread regarding CSC layoffs

CSC, a great name of your resume but a bad company to work for

CSC's executive management is completely cut off and very shielded from what's actually happening at client locations - they have no clue how bad it is. Personal time is non-existent as management and account leaders will contact you on your time off... Sick? No worries, we'll call you....

Raises do not come yearly and are not that good at all, as such salaries are way below keeping up with cost of living - you are losing money by sticking around.

Horrible communication from upper management to lower management and regular employees is causing problem because it's difficult to figure out where this company is going.

We had many rounds of layoffs since I joined in 2013, that's a constant, every year they cut more and they give you more work, it's pretty bad overall... I am working on my resume right now...

Layoffs happen.

Getting called in on a Saturday night, and told you can only submit for ONE HOUR PAY, and being flat out lied to, repeatedly, by your manager about things that really matter to you, is something that is rather unique to CSC; and a corporate culture that has absolutely no problem with it even when made aware.
