4vbk You have a good point there. The veterans can miss all the time they want and as long as they have a piece of paper they stay in class. If you're not a veteran you get an attendance suspension for 6 months if you miss 25 hours. The veterans aren't even paying for the school while non veterans are paying a lot of money to attend. It's not fair that the veterans get a free ride and special treatment.

Thanks to the VA money the schools are open. Young future tax payers have no interest in watching a veteran miss 100 hours of class time and still continue the education, while an average citizen has to obey the education rules that only apply to non military.

Many are being funded for classes they already passed and awarded loan debt for living expenses. The VA will have a field day if they really look closely.

Sure we are, without the veterans WyoTech would close. We send recruiters directly to the military bases to sign up the ones nearing their discharge date. Seven out of ten students are veterans. Thanks to the VA I still have a job.
