Thread regarding Intel Corp. layoffs

My God, how many acronyms does Intel use?

For true engineers/geeks, that should be a red flag to GTFO way before this layoff happened.

I remember interning for a similar big/bureaucratic company (HP). I thought I was going to blow out my brains.

I've never worked a company larger than 400 people since that one bad experience.

Good luck to many of you. Trust me, the grass is greener elsewhere.

I don't think Intel uses any exorbitant number of acronyms. If you go to College and take computer engineering courses, you will come across 2x acronyms in a single course...

My rule of thumb is if it takes 2x longer to document the work you are going to do than to actually do the work, that's one f'd up company and job you are in.
