Aye .
100% truth.
Hard IP can get rid of 100 managers easily. VP before Anwar made it Hard IP mess. Senior directors made her fool while she was working from remote site.
Anwar -- If you want to save your job fire senior directors/managers immediately. This is great chance to fire useless people within Hard IP team.
Hard IP's senior managers are incompetent and the entire organization needs to be decentralized.
Aye ..
The Fab management teams are as bad as these sorry asses.
.Aye.
The entire HIP management team!!
Anwar -- If you are reading this forum then get rid of Senior Directors in your team to save your job. These guys are good at politics and will eat you alive as you are from Synopsis and don't understand intel politics. They are interested only growing their headcount.

Hard Truth. Last year intel tried to sell Hard IP team to Synopsys but it didn't pan out. Synopsys quickly figured out it is full of Bullsh!t lazy asses and backed out. DDR IP team is > 200 employees which is joke. It should be max 30 employees. Delivering inferior IPs causing pain to integration team. It is scattered among multiple sites (FM, AZ, India, IDC, SC) and no efficiency. BK please get rid of at least 500 people from this team.
Whole team should get the perp walk
Yup.
Send me your address and I will say to your face 100 times.
@1ivp - because of hard IP efficiency you guys were fixing missing level shifters in C0 step of DDR IP going to broxton. You can't find missing level shifters till C0. Dumb morons.
Say that to my face
We need teamwork and strategy but not blame to any team. If not always found last minutes features change request, things will get more smooth. If HIP design added in everythg, Yes, probably will be more efficient, but thats will be overdesigned. Nobody can accept if that features are not required by the product but HIP just added in to anticipate for future needs. Hence, dont blame to anyone, if you are good, propose sth meaningful to Intel.
We need to harness the creative synergies of our designers across our broad IP portfolio to create a "scalable on demand" IP. We must make what is HARD today into tomorrow's SOFT IP, so that it these new next generation SOFT IPs are project configurable on the fly to enable broader product portfolio expansion and product acceptance into the marketplace.
my 2 cents.
If product couldn't locked down their features upfront, how could you expect HIP team be efficient? HIP fund by product team, right? I think problem is not specific to one org, is Intel problem.
And HIP is not in FM - it is all over the globe you nitwits.
HIP has consistently been delivering xM IPs on xN Projects across xP Process nodes. I you say HIP is inefficient - go get your limited gray cells examined!
The most revenue generating department this is
