Workers are having to jeprodize their own lives by working 16 hour days to cover everything in a plant where layoffs occurred. The work force was at bear minimum to begin with. No one from area mgr on up is concerned for their safety. It's all about the dollar and shareholders. Pray for their safety!

So glad to be let go. I am now employed elsewhere and will not look back. When your direct supervisor is an idiot and knows nothing about your facility...it's best to move on.
Talk is cheap. It is real easy to talk about what you are going to do or why things where not done correctly. However these days if you actually do something you are probably going to be tagged as doing it wrong, especially if you do not have any talent according to the ones that are watching on the sidelines.
Interesting original post--
Those laid off in late March were informed that greater than 10% layoff in areas other than operations would be necessary to maintain staffing at the plants in order to preserve safety and to maintain the operational functions necessary to keep the business model going in order to produce and/or move product.
good thing the safety department cut 25% of their employees.
Praying!
