There is no point to keep blaming Paul on his decision, which was based on limited data at that time. The problem is, acknowledging that situation, intel has not done a good job on mobile segment to get the market back.

Just before PO's retirement, he admitted openly that it was his biggest mistake to turn Steve Jobs down. At least he was one to admit his mistakes. Rare that someone in that position ever does.
Of course it would have been a positive. It would have given us a position to fight from in the market at the very least instead of having to play catch up and failing. And Jobs would not have gone with Intel if it didn't work EXACTLY as he envisioned.
Oh FFS. What CPU would Apple have taken at the time? Please let me know as it would be interesting since we still can't deliver low power worth a damn today, so would love to hear your suggestion on silicon. Let's hear it, BK?
Your assuming the iPhone deal would have been positive for intel in any way.
Lots of assumptions here in pricing and cost that may or may not be possible.
Great point but BK no good either. I think it will end up being a good move picking up murli. We need people with different mindsets. This thing about molding future leaders from within intel ain't working
