Thread regarding Cameron International Corp. layoffs

Just couple of years back all finance controllers/managers at Cameron were invited to Houstan annually. It was known as the controller conference where all the 300 ods controllers were litearly out of control. ;) Partying till late every night and luxarious hotels stays.... Alas... and now even asked to cut down on printing to save money on paper or switch off the monitors at night... well good old days of oil n gas industry. Wonder how long will it be when that will happen again? Or lesson have been learnt and savings will be made for the raining season when the sun is still shining..???
