I'm on sabbatical and won't be back until early June. I've not receive any notice yet but wonder if anyone in a similar situation has been called, texted, etc.

I am on MLOA and called my boss on Monday because it had been a couple months and I read the news.
As he is by the book, my call was fortunate as I was offered the enhanced retirement package on Monday and can consider it now. Had I waited, I may have missed the chance to consider the offer. If you are retirement eligible or even suspect VSP I'd suggest checking your inbox for a special mail. Subject induces "Confidential" sender is Employee Services. Good luck and try to enjoy the rest you so richly earned.
I wonder if my last paycheck will get pushed out to my return date or return date plus 2 weeks
They won't (or most won't) bug you on LOA or Sabb. Call if you want to know. You can arrange to take care of it sooner
I would NOT contact your manager. Enjoy your sabbatical!! Otherwise you are done today
I believe instructions are to not contact anyone on Sabbatical and to wait to notify them upon the return if they are impacted. If the employee on Sabbatical reaches out to the manager directly, the manager can inform them.
