IR overturned, what is the consequence to manager?

my IR overturned in open door investigation. Wondering what would be consequence to Manager and how manager and next level manager have any consequence??? I suspect next level manager also involved in my IR giving to settle his some scores with me on my questions.

With regards please help and provide on info/feedback how I should handle... towards consequence or punishment on their bad horrible behaviors.

I can't share anymore to keep my case not identified by them on this forum. Even theirs henchmen/women want to as they have heavy political network.

I had the same situation.. I won my Open Door and my IR was overturned. There were no consequences for my manager even thou the investigation showed and proved that he acted irresponsible and not up to the standards of an Intel manager/policies. I was forced to take CAP that was not needed and my life took a toll and I even felt sick after fighting all this for over 6 months during the investigation.

That manger still at his position ruining other people's life and managent above him does not care. BTW, this manager is a NON-US citizen with an h1b visa and growing his team with more h1b's right here in the states in a very racist and unprofessional way displacing anyone he does not like.. I have no issues with anyone coming to my country to work hard and make a living but to spit on my face in my own home is just wrong..

At the end I left and was able to negotiate a VSP but it was under my terms. Very sad what Intel has become.. good luck..

I got tapped a month ago. It was the most bazaar thing. I worked for 1 year, was the top contribuitor in github - Never ever once did my manager or anyone speak to me about performance.

It was the worst experience in a job I've had. Thought I was doing real good going into the focal but got a EPP. The cards were so stacked up against me.

My manager just kept on saying "perception". Well "perception" is.. Facts were meaningless!

Then all of a sudden I got labeled defensive. I mean, WTF? The EPP said "FirstName caused the entire to be disrupted. The defensiveness of firstName... .. bla, blah, elfin bla.."

I lost it! I said -"you know Mr. Manager - you are my boss and if there is perception issues you effin handle it. Here are the FACTS and the Facts are no where near this perception issue - and WHO is saying x, y or z. Because its not true" "Mr. Manager, the thing about perception... Perception is a choice. You made a choice to believe perception - You make a choice not to believe in FACTS."

Anyhow, I got 3 months and insurance.

I wanted to fight it, but I think my manager f---ed up and I was the fall guy for something I'll never know. I went above my manager at the end and send his manager an email with a 10 page document from github that shows. Performance plan was horse sh-- - It was set up so I would fail it.

He wanted me out (why I have no clue).

The sh--ty thing is my manager was a reviewer on the performance plan. (I WAS THE TOP CONTRIBUTOR on github, have the lowest bug count, highest lines added, lines deleted and I NEVER EVER missed a deliverable date. OHH HE had on the paper I missed a BUNCH - again HorseShit!!! - I pride myself on the work I do. Still annoyed at it - f---in sh--ty experience. Never ever would I recommend anyone to work for that group.

But what do you do when they go through all this work and build a case that is BS and offer 3ish months, healthcare, bonus - You feel useless. and even if I get the performance plan overturned I couldn't work there.

Unfortunately it now gives Intel a bad name for me. I would never seek out intel as a company, hardware, etc.. What I went through I don't wish on anyone -

I get my severance on Friday, so on Saturday I will fold up my OLD SCHOOL letter and send it off to BK, and other top people. I have all reports showing my #'s month over month - Sending them all his way.

I'm doing it not to get my job back, get anything really. I just want to yell it from the roof tops that X is a crappy person - Y is a much crappier person - Horrible experience the last 2 months.

If ppl actually monitor this board, and if you happen to be reading this - I have to tell you, That was a sh--ty thing to do - You f---ed up, not me. But because I am remote and you don't see me - so easy to blame it on the guy who works remotely. You my friend and my friends boss, my boss f---in lied - f---in lied to save his ass. I speak right to you, F---IN COWARD! I wish lots of horrible things happen in your career. You need to get out of the workforce.

I gave INTEL my all - My manager lied, built some smoke and mirrors improvement plan on me and I was so blindsided. You are the REASON Intel is spinning out of control. You made up a good story Mr f---in Man and let me go, THE #1 contributor.

You are the one that is making Intel fail. I now have a distain for anything Intel because of you. Im sure other people here have some anger for Intel.

1 more week and then I send all my documentation to anyone with a C in their title. Lots of ppl will know how sleazy you are. People like you are killing Intel - I loved may job,, gave 150% - Those are the people Intel needs, not managers.

And man, If you are a manager and YOU choose to believe perception instead of facts then you're NOT A A F---IN GOOD MANAGER. You are sh-- to me.

I went through a 3 month open door investigation and won it (ie, it was overturned) but by the time it was over, Ihad already started the VSP process. So DO NOT SIGN ANYTHING! I REPEAT DO NOT SIGN ANYTHING. Once you do, you're done and have no leverage. Depending on your circumstances of the overturned IR, HIRE AN EMPLOYMENT ATTORNEY ASAP. David Zeff in San Francisco is fantastic and saw my case and would have taken it if I had not signed the VSP agreement. Be patient and thoughtful through this. I regret not suing. It was my first and only IR FOCAL, all 12 others were Successful with 1 outstanding. My IR was from a new manager, my first female manager and she was horrible. She upended the careers 2 other people as well. She is the reason why I left Intel. Since your IR was overturned, HR is on your side. Good luck

No consequence for manager. They will ask manager/second level to take some stupid class and then case closed. Short of being accused of sexual (or other forms of ) harassment, managers are never punished. They have been some instances where accusations of harassment have been covered up to protect managers.

Get off that team ASAP. Tell everybody that it's for career growth or to try something different, don't even hint at the real reason. Be a model employee until you can land somewhere else.

Retaliation from a manager is completely forbidden. If a manager does that, report him/her to HR immediately. Seriously... the expectations for managers in this respect should be absolute. As a former manager, I would encourage anyone to concerned about retaliation to get your HR rep on the phone. I think instances of this are fairly low.... most managers at Intel are pretty decent, and have more integrity than they get credit for. As I said in another post, the fall-out of bad systems (which can corrupt good people), is real and in most institutions whether they are corporate or not.

They will build a new case against you ASAP. You are now in their Most wanted list. Get a attorney and discuss your case like right now. Make sure to keep good track of all doc's.

They protect themselves, I'm sure more cases will be overturned. Just be open and honest, the true will prevail.
