Heard quarterly, nope...they have 1 more day to do that for the 2nd quarter. Ain't gonna happen. Business as usual, it's taking time to reorg and get the new teams back on track. Attempting to do the same amount of work with a lot less people. Everyone is slammed so THEY CAN'T LAY ANY MORE PEOPLE OFF! The only asset sale is Moz. at this point. What APC needs to be cautious about is a class action lawsuit regarding all the older workers they laid off and kept mostly young people. Halliburton did that and the CALS is in the works! Also, discrimination, not giving everyone remaining & deserving a raise or bonus, including contractors.

I understand the asset sale folks leaving, and good for the folks who get to retire. This thing is going to turn for the better because it always does. In the oil business make it when you can, and save and pay off bills. When it is down hopefully you have the money to take a break. It will come back and when it does I will be around to get the payout from the oil companies again. If you have loyalty to a company you are stupid. Use them when you can and screw them when they screw you. This is not our parents times, and loyalty means nothing. We are all independent contractors!! The day you forget that you are a lost cause!!

Next round is in June for people volunteering to retire. And people "attached" to asset sales will be let go.

Fine example of "CONmercial Focus."

U R Stupid! Don't you have anything better to do than spread rumors which are not true. They planned the layoff and there won't be another unless oil tanks which is not the trend so far this year.

Anadarko Petroleum’s 1Q16 earnings estimates:

APC’s 1Q16 loss per share estimate is ~$1.20. APC announced an adjusted loss per share of $0.57 in 4Q15. The consensus Wall Street estimate was a loss per share of $1.10.

I think they are just rumors unless there were some leftover from the first one, or there has been assets sold. With the price of oil and the stock going up APC would not want to be shorthanded. If they increase the budget they need the people they have on hand. I really think the next step is to consolidate Denver into Houston. Keep the field offices in Denver, but move the others down as needed.
