Shell to close 3 UK offices and extends Voluntary Severance to UK staff

“This [voluntary redundancy programme] is in the context of the reality of a lower for longer oil price environment, and is not exclusively related to the Shell-BG combination,” the company said. “A similar proposal was communicated to Shell staff in the Netherlands earlier this month.”

Shell is an amazing company. Even better than Shell is its people - it's best asset. Company speak.

Shell employees are the most gutless spineless soulless lifeless mindless people I have ever known. In my 30 years as a professional - 3 major corporations and Shell is - wow - in a league of its own. I don't know how it does it - but brainwashing does come to mind. Insidious.
