How sad some layoffs are going to happen in Dec during the Christmas holiday

Just a suggestion to all who have been laid off from State Street and other companies. Sign the many petitions that are available to stop outsourcing jobs and also petition to repeal NAFTA. Since I have been laid off I have signed as many petitions as I can. I do realize that many people who are laid off will have no problem finding a new position. I am an older worker but still no where near retirement age and are currently working but will never make anywhere near the amount of money that I was earning. I am working two jobs and still earning less than I did when working just one job. The circumstances that many US citizens face because of outsourcing has to change.
State Street has laid of some of their best and brightest workers to save money.

Those wonderful people in India who have no idea of how to solve problems in a timely manner.
I just sent a congratulation note to one of my SSB co-worker, who just got a pink slip last week. I knew she got what she always wanted in the last few years. I was surprised that they let her go. The most dedicated and talented worker they ever had. SSB is in big trouble. After I got the new, I sold a portion of my SSB common share. Looking to the future, this company is sinking faster than I thought.
This isn't anything new for State Street. It will be news if they don't have December layoffs.

Yes STT stock goes up when they lay off workers instead of earning money by doing their job
