In New Mexico you can file for unemployment as soon as you are notified of a layoff, but you won't receive money until after your last day of work. @H6GgrgZ-chd is correct with the rest of the information. The state unemployment office will already know how much money you maid and why you were let go.
You DO NOT report separation or severance pay.
Per the OREGON unemployment handbook:
You must report all work and earnings when claiming benefits. You must report any payments you receive in exchange for any services you provide or products you sell. This includes:
•Gross earnings
•Cash
•Non-cash payments such as room and board
•Tips, bonuses, stand-by pay, sick pay and
•Vacation and holiday pay if you are returning to work with this employer
Call the UI Center if you have questions about what to report or how to report cash and non-cash earnings. You don't need to report weekend National Guard or Reserve Military drill pay, jury duty pay, severance pay or separation pay.

EDD will have all you previous earnings on file. If Intel filed a WARN Act which is required by Federal Law then there will be no need to explain why you were let go, it would be part of the mass layoff. The person who mentioned that severance and vacation has no bearing on your unemployment is correct. You don't have to report it since it is not for "paid working hours".
One important thing for all ISP's, if Intel specifies you were let go due to a performance issue, they can push back about paying unemployment. If a person quits or gets fired due to performance, they are not eligible for unemployment. My guess is Intel will not want to take this path as many that were given ISP were not below a satisfactory. It was due to the stock level. And that can be easily proven to EDD that you are disputing that you were fired due to performance. I would highly recommend everyone that had satisfactory rating do NOT specify reason for layoff was related to performance. Select the "downsizing or reorg" category. If Intel fights that, they will have some explaining to do. I highly doubt they will, and I would imagine everyone that files a claim will get approved. Just be prepared for that scenario. Have copies of your focal review. During your phone interview with EDD you may need it for proof
Unemployment goes back to previous quarters, so have your earnings for the past 18 months. It will ask you the amount you made for each quarter over a year+ period. Plus the $$ amounts and dates for your severance and vacation. Online submissions will not require you to submit docs.

You can file the day after your last working day. Severance, vacation pay and other types of payment does not affect your unemployment.
I ma in Oregon, I generally wait till the first Monday, after you are let go to file. Remember you will not get a check for the fist week you claim as it is a wait week. Moy you receive will affect when you will receive your first check.
ISP means your last work day is the day of the notification but your last paid day is the end of May. You can file for unemployment benefits starting 1 June.
The instant you are let go. Keep in mind, your severance will impact when benefits start paying. Submit a claim online. I would not specify it was related to performance if you got a "s" as that may disqualify you for benefits. Intel will have to prove you had poor performance with a lower stock level. This is where that will get a lot of attention. I'll be curious to hear what happens to those applying.
