Does anyone else continually have Williams HR looking at their LinkedIn profile? A person from HR is ony LinkedIn at least once a week and has been for the past month. If they decided to lay me off, why in the world do they care where I am working now? It seems so odd.

Well no one has contacted me from HR or any other department from Williams and that's just fine. But go figure....I made many complaints to them through the holiness and never had anything done about those neither. So let me give them an update....I am employed AGAIN because I'm qualified....unlike some of the Good Ol' Boys you kept. Good luck on overspending that budget money, due to having under qualified personnel.

If you can't tell the person is being satirical (and doing a damn good job at it lol) and is not really an HR person, you are petty gullible.
Don't know why everyone bashes on the HR sorority. They're doing the best they can with their limited interpersonal skills. If they were people-people, they'd be working for Enterprise or ETE by now.
Hey HR.. Old saying goes like this..you have to be trusted by the people you lie too. No trust here.
Even though you may not realize it, we're doing you a huge favor by contacting you. By reminding you of how great of a job we do, we're setting you up for success in your future endeavors. We're working hard to set your expectations for any dealings you have with future HR departments. We're starting to learn more about LinkedIn, so in the future, we'll show up as anonymous visitors to your profile. So sorry for the inconvenience. When you have as many directors as we do, many with very few direct reports, we have to do a lot of things ourselves that we're not used to. Please be patient!! -HR
How about instead of stalking people on LinkedIn you actually call them, listen to what they have to say, and take it to heart. No one has called me so guess you guys can't be that busy if it takes your team over 5 weeks to call the people laid off. I have been getting LinkedIn stalked as well though, so at least you guys are doing something. Next time why don't you call instead I have a lot to share with you...
To HR: That's BS... don't act like you're doing us a favor by contacting former employees especially after indicating that you get "points" from Robin. Just trying to secure your job by saying I have nothing to do after assisting you with laying off employees, so let me stalk them to show that I made contact... get the "f" out of here. How about you perform a job search on LinkedIn for yourself instead of stalking former employees!
Lol! Funny
Even though We are the Energy, and you're not the energy anymore, we still care. We get points on our weekly reports to Robin for every former employee we contact. We want to continue our helpful reputation even though you're gone. -HR
I had the same lady from Tulsa contact me as well. Not regarding the severance package, I do not know if HR is looking at my LinkedIn page or not, I will have to look and see. But , she wanted to talk to me about assisting with job placement. Really? I agree with other ex employees I want then to stay the hell away from me, they have caused enough damage and will continue to do so.
She/he is crushing on you, man. Williams doesn't give a sh-- about you.
I just got an email from an HR lady in Tulsa who "has some questions about my severance packet". I simply signed and returned, nothing much to be unclear about. Wants to chat at 3pm tomorrow. What is this about? Anyone else have someone in HR say that over their severance deal? I just want these people to be out of my life once and for good (save for the potential ETE payout of course, duh).
People are nosy and all of the Internet profiles that people make about themselves just encourages it. If you don't want people to look at your profile, you should take it down. No point in wondering why someone is looking at something you put online for people to look at.
