Thread regarding Exterran Partners L.P. layoffs

Any more lies?

Well it is Monday 4/25/2016 and we are still working 40+ hours a week. Got to see the prints on two NEW jobs today. Just curious if lie maker has any new "information"

By Independence Day whatever is going to happen will have happened.

Everyone is a temporary employee in this economy regardless of industry, position or job title.

I've seen managers layoff their employees and within the hour be lay offed themselves at this very facility. This is the reality we all face, it sure doesn't feel good but it's where we are...

If you haven't updated your resume lately, please do so. Then boldly march out into the robust Tulsa job market and compete against countless others going for the same job. If you really stand out perhaps you'll be summoned for an interview, but don't count on it (Been There, Done That). This present day economy is not designed for working class people like us, we appear to be a liability to this country in some circles. I wish you all the best of luck transitioning from Exterran to hopefully a much more stable environment for you and your families.

It seems like the burning desire to do everything out of Houston is being accelerated by this down turn. Looks like the final dismantlement of Broken Arrow is not far away now. What a waste. All that money paid by Hanover to acquire process plant design and manufacturing knowledge only to have it ultimately be left in the hands of people who really know very little about the business and how to run it. It's a real shame. It can't put back together again.

Ok folks, I also work at BKA and I can tell you that the shop work will run out at the end of June. There are no new jobs coming in and, the end of June is also the end of the second quarter. The end of the first quarter they came in and laid off entire departments in the main office. The most notable was the purchasing department. When you get rid of your purchasing department that tells me that they don't plan on getting anything new anytime soon. and that was just on the first floor. They will come back and sweep the second floor (Engineering) next. Along with that they will also effectively close the shop down. Broken Arrow is in the process of being moth balled just like they have done with Columbus. There will be a few lucky (If You Can Call It That) folks that will be kept to oversee the facility. Upper management also will not escape this as many of them will be let go with the rest of us.

You want the truth, it doesn't matter how many blue prints or contracts you have, when the slam the door shut and lock it, you are out looking for a "job" . With this Federal investigation going on anything could happen. The folks who are incharge are not going to tell the whole story of what is really happening behind the closed door untill it comes out in the report. Then it's to late. Like the employees at Enron you will lose everything, 401k, jobs , everything and you will be wondering , what the hell just happened. Why do you think Exterran the "mother company" is doing all this postering, moving Brad Childers to Arcrick, bring in new finance VPs and such. It's not for the folks who are down in the dirt working the assoff and thinking they have a solid future for retirement and thier families. They really don't care.
