Thread regarding Intel Corp. layoffs

How long do you have to exercise options, rollover 401K, etc?

For those of us getting laid off on Monday, how long do we have to exercise our vested options/RSUs and roll over our 401K/pension/retirement to IRAs? Do we need to do all of this on Monday?

Be careful -UBS charge heavy when you are not intel employee . Transfer all stocks to other accounts. I paid big commission last year after chopping

For ERP it's my understanding people have until June 2 to take it or not. I am expecting similar timeline for VSP. Anybody know for sure?

Your VSP letter/package should summarize the timing requirements and include a document that lists how to contact custodians (the institutions that hold your shares). Be sure to have your login information (login/pword/URL) when you leave if you have been using your corp computer to access your accounts

Options/RSUs: You will have a short period in which to exercise vested options (vested RSUs are already yours).

401(k) - You will have time and options regarding actions w your 401(k)--whether to leave it w Fidelity or move it to another bank.

Pension - options depend on when you joined the company.
