All done in Europe? What are the sites scheduled for closure?
Talked to someone in HR today, the two Munich sides will be heavy layoffs. Peoples are saying that Apple may stay with QUALCOMM :(
when we ( i am technically still in Intel today) don't know where to focus on revenue growth, we find a way to focus on cost saving... such as 12000 layoff.
Strong labor laws == It takes some more time. But the final result can be the same.

if INTC wants to focus on mobile they can't dismiss mobile focused sites... but anybody knows where INTC wants to focus actually?
German - France and Austria sites - focused on mobile should be in danger since the mobile division is not giving any profit from the beginning...
Not much in Europe. A couple in Russia. Some consolidation in Israel that was already known.
In two weeks we'll know the numbers for sweetener except Europe. Then subtract from 12000
