The way Intel are going about the determination of layoffs based on Focal and SSL will prejudice every person being laid off whether they are male or female, regardless of ethnicity, simply because if you were laid off and not terminated for cause, there is now public opinion that your performance was not adequate and that's why your number came up. Therefor you are being terminated for cause, poor performance. The entire process has been extremely poorly managed and heads should roll at the top, never mind an egotistical reality series starring the CEO!

Intel caught people off-guard when it used ssl as a layoff criteria for the first time last year. Did you feel any unfair then when you weren't impacted? Now this is the second time Intel did it. Can you still claim you don't know how Intel would use ssl against you? I accepted low ssl without any questions before, but I let my manager know I reject any ssl lower than 3 since 2015. If you are given ssl4 or 5, make sure it can be clearly justified. BE was an honest rating before. Intel replaced it with ssl scheme. Many people fell into the trap and got laid off last year. We should have known since ssl4 or 5 is BE and an easy target for layoff.
look at the "high tech antitrust class action" lawsuit.
I got about 7K finally, a pittance actually, but look at how hard Intel fought it, how big it was industry wide, and how long it took. That's the kind of action you'd be up against. On the otherhand, my theory is this FU is one of the reasons PSO left.
As it was said, their lawyers are BIC, so any lawsuit against them is doomed.
