Thread regarding Broadcom Corp. layoffs

Executive departures

The CTO of the networking group left for Marvell. Is this a bad sign?

Any other high-level departures?

The business looks gd but all hiring may not be in the US. The networking group keeps shifting headcounts to Taiwan.

No kidding! But, semiconductors in the US is a shrinking business. Where else can one find a comparable executive position to jump to? (Being just a worker bee, this isn't a problem I have!)

Talk about jumping from the frying pan into the fire. Marvell is plagued with accounting irregularities and activist investors. The CEO and President were given the boot. The company has put itself up for sale.
