if you get ISP, you will be required to sign your package docs, the Trade Secret Agreement, you will stay in the conference room with HR while your manager goes to your desk to get your personal belongings such as a bag or purse, etc. You will be escorted to the lobby by HR and instructed to promptly leave the campus. HR will schedule a time after hours for you to come back on site, they will sign you in and accompany you to your cube or bullpin to clean out your desk, they don't like to allow employees to clean out their desks during business hours because it diminishes morale of employees who are not impacted. Speaking from personal experience.
Don't forget to copy the pictures and contacts from your phones also.
Honestly @ved? Dimes to dollars HR has seen that password before. I'd bet they could crack into everyone's laptop that's been laid off by trying the top 10 variations on spelling F*ck Intel. LOLOL

I wonder if you go in around 3 or 4 am Monday, if you can avoid the security detail waiting at the front door, ha ha. At least make them track you down!

They have done this before. One time they set up temporary trailers in the parking lot for the exit interviews. This is a big layoff not like recent years. I would definite copy all files from laptop etc.. I suspect after exit interview they will take you too your cube for personnel belongings. You will be required to give passwords to all accounts. They will be verified

Impacted employees will be informed jointly by their manager and HR. They will be escorted out IMMEDIATELY but paid through May 30. Notifications will occur between 4/25 and 4/29, so you still have time between now and then to save any personal files (pictures, etc) that you don't want to lose when they confiscate your PC.
Does it really matter? And no, I do not believe this will be happening. In many cases people will be asked to stay with Intel for a while to hand over their projects.
Better take a image of your laptop's today. There is Intel for you. Wonder if you are still loyal? Told you guys will be treated like criminals.
I heard the same. HR sent an email out to managers saying the will 'meet' with ISP impacted folks 'in person'. I'm sure they are are conveying that they will escort people out.
I have heard that happening at Intel before. So, I wouldn't be surprised. Any one expecting an ISP should be prepared to hand over their laptops on Monday. Even people who are not expecting an ISP, it is good to take time this weekend and prepare your self to hand over your laptops on Monday as you never know how soon your turn will arrive.
