The ACICS complaint procedure is here (http://www.acics.org/schools/content.aspx?id=2068). ACICS is corrupt (funded by the schools it accredits), but you should send a complaint anyway to set up a digital trail. Your state AG should be easy to find. Most AG's have a consumer complaints section. Finally, if you have a good story, send an email to David Halperin at the Huffington Post. Mr. Halperin's email is dhalperin@republicreport.org and davidhalperindc@gmail.com. Last but not least, the ITT Tech Warriors are on Facebook fighting for justice.
The company has been corrupt for years... The only real thing you can do is find a better job at a real company and blow the whistle about all the illegal stuff ITT is doing.
I got to do something about the situation at my campus. I am adjunct with several years experience, fed up and ready to quit. ACICS changed leaders, is that sign of hope? Does anyone know who to address letter to at ACICS ? And Attorney General office? How do I address letter so it does not get lost on a pile somewhere? I don' usually do this sort of thing.
I think it is unethical to have a campus without any full time faculty, program chairs , or a full time dean (not dean who is also campus director). Even Modany lies about this, and says typical campus has chair for every program, and advisers for students.
Even ITT-Tech knows director and recruiters can't be trusted -- ITT-Tech won't allow them to proctor admission exams for nursing program -- so it isn't right for students to count on Dean/director and recruiters as their advisers. I teach at campus in this situation, and students are telling me they are very unhappy and confused. They want to be heard, but no one is accepting responsibility for listening to them.
Ironically, my campus had ACICS visit after all these lay-offs, and then they renewed the campus accreditation. I guess there is no specific rule against 50 low-paid adjuncts and 200 students (who are paying ITT-Tech several thousand a quarter), to be essentially abandoned.
Still, I got to try. My students are trying to figure out some kind of action to take as well. My campus has town hall meeting with CEO scheduled next month. Some of my students are getting excited about asking for some answers. I am not sure students will be invited, but they are willing to crash the party at this point.
I'd rather see them start a new list from scratch. As a former student I know all too well how sneaky and corrupt ITT is when it comes to things like lying about attendance or fudging the numbers on loans to whatever suits them. I know they hire low wage indians to nuke your cell phone 25 times a day to keep their default numbers looking rosy even though they know delaying the loans just increases the size down the road.
According to ITT Educational Services' last annual report, 31 campuses and more than 400 programs are not meeting ACICS standards for student retention. Can we get a list of ITT Tech campuses and Breckinridge nursing programs that are not meeting the ACICS benchmarks?
"Unclear why they're just piping up", what a joke. It couldn't be more clear. Their assis on the hot seat (finally) for doing nothing and they have to get rid of the bad actors before their entire organization goes tits up.

Any former employee who saw something illegal or unethical should send them a certified letter, along with a copy to the state attorney general and CFPB. This school preys upon thousands a year and is bleeding our government of billions of tax dollars while contributing nothing to the economy or the public interest. If you have solid evidence against this school it could make the difference between this place scamming thousands more or getting shut down and replaced by something better for everyone.
They are going to get forcibly closed down if they don't rein in the top abusers that are making them look incompetent. Guess who the top abusers are? Scam schools like ITT Tech.
