Is there going to be layoffs or not?
There is really no technology projects going on here in Folsom anymore. What are we supposed to do?
I have traveled to China four different times, and believe me to say the focus is no longer stateside is the understatement of the year. Not good for the overall U.S workforce.
Sorry to tell you, but the worst is yet to come if you are working in California or Idaho. If you are overseas everything will be just fine!
There is no real technology project work happening at Micron in Folsom. Managers are hinting employees to not work real hard and retire at G7/8 as there will be no promotions. Most if employees are just in sustaining mode of projects. The micron folsom site is the next target especially with the large number of layoffs at Intel.
