They should of all ready sent out the checks. Unfortunately it looks like Williams executives are trying to get out the merger with ETE by filing a lawsuit about taxes, (why did not see it when the merger was first announced). Hopefully the shareholders will get a chance to see through it and get to vote on the merger. While I don't want to see anyone lose their job, the merged company will be so bigger and stronger than two stand alone companies. Also the price of oil and natural gas will recover, much faster than the projections given in the SEC report, that was simply sandbagging.
Was told by HR today Williams severance checks will be mailed May 11
It is starting to look like Williams is going to get out of the merger. I am not counting on the extra pay.
Have you received your packet and sent back signed documentation? That had to happen before getting the checks, right?
No. HR informed me that the earliest date would be the 29th.
Nope, probably will come through next week.
