when is it likely that the announcement be made?

*Hardly their only problem, is what I meant.
The Art Institute brand is hardly the least of their problems. It just happens that their alumni are the most well organized in fighting back. How quickly you have forgotten that Argosy has been heavily criticized by Dick Durbin and Brown Mackie had a nursing program in Tucson that had the students using veterinary equipment instead of human medical equipment. The entire EDMC business model has become antiquated in an increasingly aware market. Students aren't falling for the for-profit scams the way that they used to. This information is much more readily available and high school counselors are ensuring that their students are more informed about college scams.
They're gonna announce it on social media. I was talking to a "buddy" in the mix. Said sh-- at the top is getting nasty and vindictive amongst the ranks.
Camden kid--your post apropos of nothing and proves nothing...all for profits investing in Congress. Look them up. Owners of EDMC could easily shut down the one school giving them the most trouble--The Art Institutes....who now have to provide a $240 million bond (almost 3 times the size of the next highest school's bond) to the Feds to get loan money. Time will tell--they will have to announce in early-mid May (before the July quarter registration begins). It may be another 10-15 schools or the remaining AI locations but it will be substantial.
Very interesting info. Thanks Camden Kid.
EDMC and Ai won't close, though some campuses may be "consolidated." Too much invested in DC this year to get shut down............................................ https://www.opensecrets.org/pacs/pacgot.php?cmte=C00466169&cycle=2016

Wait till you hear about the students debt being forgiven. Another little tid bit no one wants you to hear about. Oops!
Don't you just love it when the company shills come out to play on this site. So far the "rumors" have all been fairly accurate. Now all you little shills can crawl back under your rocks.
Teach outs were announced last May and layoffs always happen in June at the end of the fiscal year. Teach outs seem more likely than full closure at the start but no one expects these schools to stay open forever.
Like any idiot on this site would know. Everyone on here is like Trump..."I know some great people in high level positions and they tell me that this is happening"....bullsh!t
