ECMC/Zenith may have the best decisions and intentions. I do believe they want this to work. However, this is a sh-- show and has been since day 1. Stovall and Lanouette were a mistake. Looked good on paper but no vision. The company is a year behind on staffing models, closures and consolidations. The only real change at the campus level is a decrease in staffing. No change in admissions, education or career services. The pipeline is dry, the brand is damaged beyond repair. The immediate marketing need should have been focused on np status and committment to excellence; did not happen. We curretly have very nice people in executive positions; people that care, but do not have a clue. We have one from a recruiting firm, one from a community college and one from HSN. None are operators, none have spent quality time in the schools. None have spent time with those that intetact daily with students. They are trying to course correct the ship without intimate knowledge of operations, standards, compliance or culture. The supporting groups at ECMC are farther removed. They have built up the administrative arm of corporate education while destroying the ground operation. The schools are operating in a constant state of change, ambiguity and fear. Think what you will of the rvpos. Mine tries, really tries, but they are removed from strategy, conversation and planning. There is no inclussion, just segregation. We are more reactive today then we have ever been. In additon, we have lost a tremendous amount on institutional knowledge from rifs, but no one is accounting for that. Think of the basics, staffing, onboarding and training and development. There is no plan, just hit the go switch. You can only consolidate for so long before you have to address the realities that face Zenith. There is no student intetest. New programs are a year away, that is not a solve; nor is artificial inflation of student pop via consolidation. Lastly, we are not a community college system. We are not subsidized by the state or provided with extensive grants. There are limited funds. It is great to have a knowleable provost, but if that provost has zero understanding of general leadership, operations, strategy and campus operations, that provost needs to stay in their lanes of expertise, show humility and be willing to learn. All that being said, I hope this works; just dont see it. The model and leadership are ripe for failure.

Shame on whomever said that about Heather. You are a coward, and a bigot. Sam is a great RVPO and probably the best I've ever see . Michelle is also doing her best. If you can't help to make the change and help to get the campus straight then GET OUT and LEAVE! We don't need you!
Again, here goes more trash talk from Brandon. I have been here for a long time and I will agree with the last post about Sam. He is a great Rvpo!!!!! The white trash registrar is at the heart of everything negative. Hates the fact that she now reports to a black Dean and has to move her office and actually do her job. That's ok, she will either be fired or on pregnancy leave again. Just so the state can continue to fill their orphanages with kids she can't raise. As for the president, she's alright, but we want Dee back.
God....I hope this isn't the case....as for the comment about Sam. Your nuts!!! If he is gone this company is ridiculous. He is the best RVP we have had in the 12 years I have been here. He always kept his word, went to our graduations, and is the first person that spent time talking to anyone of us. I don't know anything about Brandon, but no one in our campus has ever said anything bad about him!

I've said on this site before that I would expose bullshi$ers well, the OP is NOT one. Everything he/she wrote is true and is known by everyone in the company at s certain level. Most of the decisions made over the past year have either been reactive or seemingly made by people without an intimate knowledge of the business. There's a new vision statement, but I'm uncertain Zenith has the ability to pull it off, not to say they don't want to. I disagree with others who have said that there's some huge conspiracy between ECMC and the DOE to purposely close down all schools, but although at this point, anything is possible. Part of the reason CCi failed is because it tried to be something it could never be. There's a very good chance Zenith will fail got the same reason. In 2-3 years, the remaining campuses will start having serious problems with student outcomes (completion and placement). There are campuses now that are not on track to meet ACCSC requirements and certainly many state requirements. THIS will ultimately be the reason the remaining schools will be shut down. Go online and research the outcomes for community colleges in your city. They are abysmal and so will the outcomes for the remaining Zenith schools. Like I've said before, if you choose to stay, do your damn job, but the clock is ticking. Prepare yourself so you're able to take care of yourselves and family.
Can anyone confirm the the regionals are done? I heard a rumor at my campus. I really like mine. First one that we have had this is quality. He talks and listens to us. Does not just sit in an office.
