Looks like those LSU grads are smarter than you thought. Enjoy the unemployment line.

Yes. The summer internship program for 2016 is a "go". The program dates are May 23 through August 12. Although there is limited work for permanent employees, MRO is trying desperately to keep their "anointed" ones, i.e., those whom they ranked more positively for 2015, active and engaged in an effort to ensure they don't jump ship before MRO decides to release them.
There's not enough work for the employees to do - why would they want to bring in students? It's not like the job prospects for those students in the coming years are going to be in any way related to what they would be doing at Marathon. They're better off "exploring" other fields in the geoscience work sector - hydrology, environmentalism, mining, etc - and making valuable career connections there. The pay would suck compared to the oil industry...oh...wait...
If Marathon wants to hire quality workers they should go recruit at a quality institution like UT Austin. For some reason they always want to recruit from LSU. Maybe they are looking for people that will not be too smart to ask hard questions?
Yes, just don't hold your breath for a full time offer though
There are students in the pipeline that are interested in pursuing internships. Think waaaaay back to 2013 and how sought after PE's were... Not a stupid question
Here is a quater, call someone who cares!
